With a family plan, you can safeguard yourself and up to 10 additional loved ones — across every device — for more peace of mind.

There’s a lot to love about the internet — but the potential threats that exist there have a lot of us feeling uneasy these days.

Over the last three years, fraud and scams have hit record heights. Our own research has shown that the majority of families are concerned about the impact on kids and older loved ones, too.

Finally, there's an all-in-one digital solution that protects the whole family against fraud and evolving cyber threats, across all devices.

Say hello to Blue, our new plan with award-winning cyber coverage and family digital safety tools. Let’s take a look at the key features.

Key features of Allstate Identity Protection’s Blue plan

Cyber protection that shields all devices — including mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops

Have you ever received a suspicious email or text asking you to click on a link or share personal information?

Phishing attempts like these are all too common. They’re often designed to steal personal details, like your credit card number, or install malware that infects your device.

Sadly, these attacks are only becoming more sophisticated and convincing as time goes on. According to the Global State of Mobile Phishing report published by security company Lookout, 2022 saw the highest number of mobile phishing encounters ever recorded.

That's why we recommend advanced protection for your personal devices.

With a Blue plan subscription, you can protect both your mobile and desktop devices with the most advanced behavioral malware detection in the market, as well as the following features:

  • Antivirus protection to combat viruses, worms, trojans, and adware that could harm your devices

  • Safe browsing with artificial intelligence that can scan all links before they are clicked and make sure they’re safe

  • An anti-tracking browser designed to hide your activity from trackers inserted into the code of most websites

  • A password manager that encrypts and safely stores all usernames, passwords, and credit card info

And there's more, our Blue plan also includes webcam and microphone protection, a file shredder, safe pay, tools for tracking lost or stolen devices, and a privacy firewall.

In addition, you get access to a Virtual Private Network (VPN) which encrypts your online traffic private and keeps it anonymous. This can be especially helpful when connecting to unsecured wireless networks, like those in airports, hotels, and cafes.

With our military-grade VPN, you won't have to worry about certain documents becoming inaccessible, which is a common problem with traditional VPNs. That’s because our VPN supports split tunneling, which allows you to choose which apps go through the VPN's encrypted tunnel and which don't.

You can also turn on our VPN’s built-in kill switch which prevents your device from reverting to its default connection in the event the VPN goes down — so you never get exposed while using the internet.

Family digital safety tools that help parents keep kids safe online

Children and teenagers are spending more time online than ever, and may be particularly vulnerable to some online threats.

That’s why we partnered with parental controls company, Bark, to provide family digital safety tools.

Given new research from Bark, keeping kids safe online is more important than ever. Drawing on an analysis of more than 4.5 billion messages across texts, emails, apps, and social media platforms, Bark researchers compiled a report that illustrates some of the challenges kids face on the internet. Among the top concerns? Alerts for sexual content, bullying, violence, and potential self-harm.

Our Blue plan allows parents to monitor for these red flags and more, helping to spot threats and potentially intervene before they escalate. The whole family will rest easier once these features are enabled:

  • Alerts for issues like cyberbullying, online predators, suicidal ideation, and more, sent straight to your phone

  • Screen time management so the entire family can enjoy a healthy balance of digital and offline time

  • Web filtering that blocks access to specific websites, or types of websites, to protect your kids from harmful content

  • Location tracking so you can see when your kid arrives at or leaves a specific location, without having to open a map app

Financial protection and dedicated fraud support when you need it most

Blue plan subscriptions also include the great remediation and support our members have come to rely on.

As always, if you’re a member and you ever need help recovering from identity theft, we’re here for you. Our U.S.-based customer care specialists are available 24/7 to assist.

And if you — or someone in your family plan — are hit by fraud, we offer up to $1 million reimbursement ($2 million for family plans) for out-of-pocket expenses related to identity theft and stolen funds.

Each month, you'll also learn your Identity Health Status and see our recommendations to help you stay a step ahead of potential threats. Blue plan holders also receive Allstate Security Pro® scam alerts, with guidance from our identity specialists on how to stay ahead of emerging fraud types that may impact you.

And our member benefits don't end there: Our Blue plan includes a robust set of monitoring tools that alert you to suspicious activity across your credit, financial accounts, social media profiles, and the dark web. Plus, we help you see your digital connections with the Allstate Digital Footprint® tool.
